HyDrive Points System Training

Introduction

AMCL have supported several clients in assessing their technical training requirements and developing and delivering bespoke training and development solutions that are aligned to their organisational and business needs.

AMCL supported the UK Mainline operator in developing the training materials for their newly accepted Hy-Drive points/switch and crossing operating system. AMCL were then charged with delivering a first wave of training to over 800 staff located throughout the UK. The training was successfully delivered in conjunction with the equipment implementation over a period of 2 years. 

Training needs for the Hy-Drive points system were analysed through a process that included identifying roles and responsibilities and analysing the specific activities that were required to be undertaken. This was combined with an assessment of current skills and competencies to produce a comprehensive gap analysis.

The analysis was applied to identified individuals and teams within the business to ensure that training solutions delivered cost effective and measurable improvements in competence. 

Our bespoke technical training service was combined with specialist coaching and mentoring services to produce a tailored training and development solution. The training output materials have since been fully integrated into our clients’ competence management system.
